Conscious Discipline® Guides Social-Emotional Development
The turbulent toddler years can be a difficult time for everyone. Your child seeks independence and pushes boundaries, which sometimes ends in tantrums. Teachers guide your child in self-regulation and decision-making, setting the foundation for their social-emotional development.
Your Child’s Safety Is Always Priority # 1
Rest easy knowing your child is safe and secure at school. Restricted access controls at the main entrance and classrooms, internal-use-only security cameras, fenced outdoor play areas, and CPR-trained teachers add an extra layer of security.
Low Teacher-Student Ratios For Quality Care & Support Services
In the toddler class, 1 teacher to 4 children is the norm – better than the state standards! If your child needs additional developmental or behavioral support, onsite speech and behavior therapists are available every day to see referred children.
Play-Based Curriculum Teaches Active Discovery
American Sign Language Supports Emerging Communication Skills
Teachers use American Sign Language (not baby sign language) to promote language acquisition and development. ASL, used in conjunction with speech, helps non-verbal children communicate wants and needs and hastens language acquisition.

Developmental Milestones For Toddlers
Gross Motor Skills
Toddlers develop the strength to: stands and walk without support, run, stoop and squat, jump in place, kick a ball.
Fine Motor Skills
Toddlers work on feeding and undressing themselves, turning pages of books, and scribbling with a crayon.
Language & Communication
From 1 to 2 years, children go from saying single words to connecting simple phrases or sentences. They can understand and follow simple commands like “stop” and “go”, and can point to body parts.
Cognitive
They start to sort objects, work simple puzzles, and recognize similarities and differences.
Social-emotional
They may show anger or frustration, can recognize themselves in a mirror and play alongside other children.
